The term ‘juxtaposition’ would best describe the inclusion of a Satanic display in the Iowa’s State Capitol building and a later display in the Michigan state Capitol Building forced on Christian’s celebrations of the birth of Jesus Christ.
‘Satanists’ claiming this representation of ritualistic pagan worship is somehow a valid contrast to the celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ is ridiculous. However, with that said, should we be surprised that a blatant display of disrespect to Christians seems on trend with the radical left’s ongoing attacks on Christianity.
Michael Cassidy, who decapitated the statue of Baphomet, (Satan), depicting the body of a man and the head of a goat, was quoted in the Daily Caller said it best:
“The world may tell Christians to submissively accept the legitimization of Satan, but none of the founders would have considered government sanction of Satanic altars inside Capitol buildings as protected by the First Amendment,” Cassidy told The Sentinel in a statement. “Anti-Christian values have steadily been mainstreamed more and more in recent decades, and Christians have largely acted like the proverbial frog in the boiling pot of water.” [1]
